Best restaurant in Puerto Plata?

#1

Just wondering, in case my friends and I want to eat in town, what do you think the best restaurant (cost and type of food aren’t much of an issue).

Cheers,
Justin

Cafe Cito is very good. diverse menu, Canadian owned. Tim Hall is the Canadian Consul in the area.

If cost is no issue, check out Ponderosa.
They have great lobsters but definitely a bit pricey.
They have a lot of other stuff too.

I recently tried Camacho on the malecon and found it quite good.

they offer a FREE RIDE to the restaurant ride if you book 3 days in advance and they are Canadian owned and operated and PRINT their cupons up before departure.

If you want a gorgoeus place to get away from it all…try the Hotel Lor Mar (sp) it is alittle past POP off the HWY. Ask them in the mall or most taxi will know where to go. It is an old mansion on top o f a cliff that has the most amazing sunsets and great lobster and steak. I beleive you can see the new Ocean world from the view. Have fun
