Cayo Santa Maria

Does anyone have a review of Melia Buenavista, Cayo Santa Maria?

Depending on your travel dates…you should be aware of the prevailing winds that can be really strong there. Very exposed area and it’s right on the point. We have see the huge waves crashing over the coral from Ensenachos. Small adults only resort. Gets great reviews. Beach is nothing to right home about, my opinion only. I have not stayed there but have floated by(sometimes at very fast hobbycat speeds) lol If you are into snorkeling, there are some pretty good areas right in front IF the winds are not up.

All of the above, but the beach is fine. It is the end of the main CSM beach, and is very nice, soft sand. [img alt=" " src=“http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a179/eeeefarm/Melia%20Buenavista/01buenavistabeach.jpg” style=“max-width:100%;”]
You can walk for miles, literally, before you reach the other hotels.

Lots of coral and fish if you get good snorkelling weather…
