Cool band bus

The town of Puerto La Libertad uses this bus to take school bands to different events in the area. On Thursday it was parked by the Central Park for activities there recognizing different schools, there was even a group of students from the University of Missouri on stage as guests.

In the background is the church steeple.

So it is all organized by town of Puerto la Libertad for schhol bands. It could be used for tourist as well as sitting on the top of the bus would allow tourists to have nice view of the town. Very nice of the city officials to give students ride. I guess it is free for students?

Have only ever seen it when there is a festival or sporting event in The Port.

some pics of another one I have seen but think it’s from the city, not local

Nice photos. Ss I see it said on the bus La Conga. Is it same conga that people dance in Cuba? Do you know?

Thanks Busman7. There can’t be too many, low, under-crossings in the area.
Are there many school bands in the area?

Yesterday I saw documentary “La Camioneta” where people from Guatemala go to USA and purchase school buses and convert them for transportation and business in Guatemala. Very interesting and I remembered this thread so wanted to let know everyone who is interested in this topic to check out that documentary called “La Camioneta”.
