Havana For A Day Excursion

Anyone has done “Havana For A Day” excursion, from Cayo Santa Maria Hotels, Santa Clara (Royal Hideaway Ensenachos, Melia Las Dunas, Barcelo, Sol and Cayo Santa Maria).

Is it worth the time and money and was the tour good?

Saw the info on this site and it’s by plane from nearby airport.

thanks.

thank for posting that

Good link.

I’m quite pleased to see that while some of those prices are expensive, none of them appear to be rip-offs. If the tours are handled professionally then they’re not bad value, especially for a first time visitor.

Take a $80CUC taxi to Havana. Split between 4 people, that’s pretty cheap. Then you can come back when you want and go where you want. It’s only about an hour and a half drive.

Can this be right? I thought it was around 175 miles from Cayo Santa Maria to Havana.

I think cheval47 might be thinking of the travel time from Varadero or Jibacoa.

Yes I was. Sorry. Thought you were in Varadero.
