Melia cayo coco questions

Hi off to Melia cayo coco in June and cant wait but have a few questions for anyone who has been.
Do they have bath robes in the standard rooms?
Do they give you towels for the beach and if so how often can you change them?
What are the loungers around the pool like, are they hard plastic or meshy?
Same question for the beach loungers.
Do you need beach shoes for the sea?
Is there a VIP lounge at cayo coco airport?
Thanks in advance
Carol

It might be useful to say which hotel you are going to…they are not all the same. Most if not all have beach towels that you can exchange daily…not sure about bath robes. Loungers will vary with the hotel. The beach at Cayo Coco is sandy…I never needed water shoes.

Thanks eeeefarm have modified my post now.

yes there is a VIP lounge
no shoes needed !
thatas all I can answer  I stayed next door and visited Melia:)

Hi, we went to Melia Cayo Coco in Sept 07 and all the loungers then were the blue plasticy ones, whilst weren’t the most comfortable, are certainly easier to sit on than the rigid white ones!
All towels are provided and you can change them everyday if you wish. There are no robes in the standard rooms.

Any other questions please feel free to ask!

thanks auds all the info will help with my packing
