This was sent to me from Larry who just returned from there:
That’s not new. It’s been there for quite some time.
Just in case you thought your effort was not appreciated, the map is new to me and very useful too. Thanks very much.
Indeed this is an old map. Some hotels changed their name or changed the owner/chain.
Casa Colonial is not at the correct spot. It should be opposite of the smaller building from Gran ventana.
It sure is an old map, it is my site…that was the exact map given to us when I was there last time…nobody has gone to the trouble to send me a new map so I can update the website.
In fact nobody had gone to the trouble of setting up a website with resort maps until I did, so an old map is defiitely better than no map

Sorry to disagree but the Casa Colonial is about where it’s shown on the map, with the Flamenco between it and the Gran Ventana. The Victoria beach buggy take you down to the CC gates which is as near to the beach as it gets. The road is not quite as curved as shown but near enough to follow.
For those who are interested the Villa Doradas is now the Blue Bay Villa Dorada and the Jack Tar is the Golden Village, unclear if it’s showing the right name but the space with Heavens in and some other squiggle is now the Viva Wyndham, Heavens is/was the name of the disco there, not sure if that’s still there as I tend to go to Mangu’s disco which is behind the Casino shown in the Jack Tar complex.
Cheers Amandalou :-*
I updated the map to match the general consensus of the thread and sent it to wud.
