Snorkeling good at Palladium Beach?

Hi…just wondering what the water clarity is like in front of the Palladium Beach? We have snorkeling gear and we’re wondering if it was worth bringing down with us this year? The last time we were in the DR, we stayed at the Bahia Punta Cana and were actually glad we “didn’t” bother to bring it with us as the water was too murky to see anyways…due to the fact that it was ALL sand IN the water and constantly being stirred up with people swimming, etc.

Plus, we had friends who were at the Bahia during their Easter Holiday break and told us upon their return to not even bother!

So, just wondering for this area of the beach which is further south of the Baha…

Thanks!

was there in 07 and we brought some masks .Our daughter and her friend went out every day and it is clear. There is a buoy on ropes to keep the boats away from swimmers ,I wouldn’t say there was alot to see. some small fish and a little wavy.A mask and snorkel isn’t very heavy for your luggage.
