Swimming in March

#1

My apologies for the cross-posting but we need to make a decision soon.

We are planning our first trip to the DR and likely will splurge with the Iberostar Costa Dorada. Given that the weather data I saw gave the highs in the low 80s can anyone comment on the pool & water temperatures plus swimming at that time of year as we will have our 8 year old with us.

no problem it will be warm enough to swim. I hope you enjoy PP … that resort looks beautiful. :sunglasses:

As the temperatures never get to what we would consider “cold”, although the local people do, it is warm enough to swim every day of the year. The water temp stays very stable.

We have been to that area in early and late December but usually always go mid to late March and always swim. You will NOT be able to keep your 8 year old out of the water!
