Vacation Apartment Rental Santo Domingo

Hello

I am looking to rent an apartment in Santo Domingo for a week. I’ve tried google and all the searches end up at the same 5 apartments ! No reply from any of the realtors in any event !

Can anyone recommend anywhere ? I will be there in about 10 days

Thanks

Pete

here is the best place to find rental spot, but 1 week makes it rather unlikely, why not just do a hotel? Good luck try the rental link

or this one, which offers weekly

Hi

I already tried that apartment - no reply from the advertisers ! I just prefer apartments to hotels

Thanks

Pete

If you decide to consider a hotel in the end, I really enjoyed the Atarazana at the edge of the Zona Colonial. It’s a redone house from around 1860 and has a lot of style. It was renovated by one of the co-owners who is an architect and you see the elements of fashion throughout. An unbelievable breakfast is included. I walked everywhere I needed to go in that area and it’s a block from the Alcazar. You can’t cook for yourself which is my definition of an apartment, and may be more than you want to spend but you may get a discount if you pay cash or if you’re staying for as long as 10 days.

I heartily recommend it.

Hi

The hotel looks beautiful, but I just like the freedom of apartments. Anyone ?

Thanks

While I agree with you, as a rule this isn’t the place to get this question answered. Did you try the suggestion to post at DR1? Some of the members there would like to think and will tell you that they can help with all (not true, and certainly not without a liberal sprinkling of condescension or sarcasm), but it is your best bet for the bulk of questions you might have regarding Santo Domingo and certainly for apartment style living. Good luck there!
